We are a family of 5 – we have three young children - 7, 4 and nearly 10 months old. We are a very friendly and easy-going family. We have hosted international students for 5 years. We offer a very safe, relaxed and comfortable home.
Our interests are largely related to our kids activities - gymnastics, circus, swimming, ballet. We also like watching movies and try to get to the theatre when we can. I always want to know what your food likes and dislikes are to make sure I am making food you enjoy.
The home was built pre-1900 and this beautiful old federation house was originally created as the station masters home & was the first home in the Regent area. Featuring stained glass windows, high pressed metal ceilings, skylights and baltic pine floorboards. Fully furnished house. Elegant yet cozy.
There are bedrooms upstairs and downstairs, an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The bathroom is upstairs and has city views! Recently installed Skylights offer a light filled space amidst the clouds & a peak at city views. Smoking is permitted on the front lawn and upstairs balcony. Enjoy the wireless internet. We have hydronic heating and offer fans for cooling. You would share the bathroom with other students and would be free to make meals/snacks if you would like.
The closest train station is a 3 minute walk to Regent Station or the buses closest to the house include 567 & 558.
