We have a guest room available in our large modern family home situated in Lincoln, New Zealand. With a beautiful natural reserve and rural outlook from your own room you can enjoy a relaxing setting whilst being near to all the local amenities.
We are a hosting family of four (2 adults + 2 young kids), easy going, approachable and happy to share our enthusiasm of exploring all NZ has to offer. Originally from the UK, but based here in NZ for over ten years.
We enjoy learning about new cultures and sharing our own too. We have one family member who is fluent in Farsi, and our kids can teach you some basic Te Reo too! Our professional backgrounds are in IT and Civil Engineering.
Your furnished room has a queen sized bed with built in wardrobe. Unlimited internet access with Netflix. We have 'help yourself' style breakfast included in the standard rate. We are able to provide other meals by agreement. Our home has a large formal lounge, open kitchen/dining area and a separate family room with adjoining study space. We have a garden you can enjoy as well - including a selection of home grown veggies.
Lincoln Village is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. Bikes are available to use, and we are open to providing some lifts by car to the local university or to a city linked bus stop mon-frid by mutual agreement. The close by town of Rolleston has a wide range of retail shops and great sports and leisure amenities such as the aquatic centre. Christchurch city is quick 20 mins drive away, or there are bus services provided by metro.
We are looking for guests that can be considerate of our young family and respectful of our shared house. In return we offer a warm hosting family who are genuinely willing to share our time to help you happily settle and enjoy your NZ stay.
